HI
This item is good, but if this pole upgrade with the bigger rings size for it, i think that would be better. This pole is very good handling with big fish like for example, sturgeon, stripe BASS .
SEE YOU NEXT TIME IF YOU HAVE NEW ITEM COME OUT I WILL LOOK INTO THE SAME ITEM WITH THE BIGGER POLE RINGS.I WOULD LOVE TO OWN ANOTHER ONE.

Better than a Custom Made Surf Rod

It works great with my Abu 6500 casting reel and my Daiwa Emblem Pro spinning reel. I easily outcast my best performances with some other great surf rods. It loads very easily but still has plenty of strength when reeling in 43" red drum. While it easily strong enough throw "8 & bait", it's still sensitive to twitch for lite bites allowing me to set the hook easier.
This rod is priced in the custom range but from the custom rods I've tried I cannot find one that outperforms it and the bonus is that it can be used with either a casting reel or a spinning reel due to it's unique eyelet design.
I''ll be buying another just like it for those times when a slow bite enables me to put more than one rig in the water.
Seven of my friends and I have all purchased this rod for Outer Banks surf fishing (boy do we draw some stairs when there''s 8 of us lined up on the surf with these beauties...).
