Legend Gulf Coast casting rod

I have both 6'6 & 7 foot mlm rods. And both have caught me big fish. I'm so surprised how great these rods handle two massive red and black drum. I totally didn't expect these rods from their specs to so much power and back bone. I had the 7 footer on the boat bend like a ugly Stik. I had a black drum that kept running under the boat. I thought the rod was going to break a few times. I didn't care and kept pulling on it. Finally got the fish to give up. For a fish that size I usually go with a med heavy to heavy 20-40 rod. These are made for saltwater. Because you never know what you going to hook up with

Excellent rod

Have the LIS76MLF and LIS76MF. Both are well balanced, very sensitive and durable. Have caught flounder, trout, redfish, snook, pompano, bluefish and mackeral on this rod. it has the power to handle big fish. St Croix also really stands by their products. I crushed one of the eyelets on one of the rods getting out of my kayak. This was 100% my fault. St Croix took care of it with no charge. I have Stella's on both of my Legend Inshores. That combo is a fishermans dream.

I do use their Legend Inshore which are great rods at a fair price.
