Great Rod

Have used these rods for several years with no problems.
Caught mostly speckled trout, redfish, and flounder.
Balances perfectly with a Shimano Saros 3000 reel.
Very light weight, perfect for all day casting.

I used to have a handful of shimano sojourn spinning rods, out of curiosity I stripped all the guides off and then set to testing differences in set ups. These rods were all exactly the same (well as near as they could possibly be). I now keep those rods in my shop so when someone asks "does it make any difference?" I don't say yes or no I say "why don't you handle these rods a little, give them a few test casts and then you tell me how they feel to you". Some people immediately feel the differences, some only notice the difference between the heaviest and lightest of the setups. Believe it or not several of them want the heavier setup.

loved it till i caught a fish

Loved this rod for casting , it would go a mile !
Problem was the first fish i caught , I didn't even get to set the hook because the rod broke 8 inches from the tip on the first pull of the fish and that was the end to my day .
My fault lies in that i didn't even think to keep the receipt on a rod so now I can't even return it
