I have a full collection of Terez and Waxwings All sizes and they all do their work on all sizes of fish. None have broken and continue to catch trout, reds, tuna, shark etc.

Sturgeon fishing. Awesome rods. Running 8' with avet sx and 50# power pro. Handles 6-10oz lead no problem. Looks deceiving but puts work in on those big fish. Crazy watching get cranked over.

I bought the 6'6" 80-200 last year and had no problem using up to 20 ozs of lead while dragging bucktails in over 100 feet of water. I went looking for my own set up to use on a party boat, I checked out every rod in Cablea's but once I had this rod in hand I knew it was the one for me.

Awesome rods. I have the 7' 30-65lb and 40-80lb, also the 7' 20-50lb bait casting rod.

The 30-65lb is my bass rod. I have used it live-lining bunker, eeling, chunking, jigging, clamming etc... Great in most situations. It can be used interchangeably with the 40-80lb model if you want a little more taper.

I have been blackfishing with the 40-80lb terez for 2 season. Basically all of my custom tog rods have taken a back seat. Very sensitive tip, fast action, but the rods actually has a nice parabolic bend with a load on it. You can use up to 10oz oz with no problem. I have pulled many slobs out with it. If I had to have just one Terez, this would be the model to get.

The 20-50lb is nothing special IMO. The Diameter of the blank is super thin. It looks like a snapper rod but you can bend it all the way down with some serious pressure on it. I like it for bucktailing but i have used other rods that are better i.e. other shimanos, loomis etc.

I've used a Terez for tuna for some time now. I am very happy with the rod for smaller tuna < 125 pounds and drag less than 20 lbs. But honestly, it's really not designed for large tuna > 150 lbs and drag in the 25-45 lb range that is needed to restle in a giant. I found its limits when I snapped it this past fall on a 125-150 lb tuna when I was high sticking (my error) and had it under a load of about 30 lbs of drag. Which really wasn't necessary for the fish, it was just at the time I had two other anglers hooked up on my boat and tried to horse the fish in quickly, bad idea. Real Seat (Brielle, NJ shop where I bought it)/shimano replaced the rod for me under the lifetime warranty, which was great and so I''m using it agian.

That said, the rod casts great and is perfectly suitable for most tuna < 150 lbs and drag less than 20 lbs here in NJ, but just like any popping rod you can''t high stick and horse in the tuna. Even some of the "unbreakable" giant tuna popping sticks can be broken under enough high stick and drag load.

Yep, a lot of the models were designed for pitch baiting tuna off larger american style charter boats, reason why the 100lb overhead models have K series guides.

Good rod for the money, better rods on the market paying that little bit extra.

I can rate these rods mate. I cant speak highly enough about them. I have the 15-30lb one matched up with a 6000 stradic and 30lb braid. Very tough, very strong rods. I put mine through its paces flicking 7 inch jerk shads for trout at the reef. Love it mate

I've got one, the xh model, paired with a Stella 6kfa and it does just fine for me. However I don't use it for tuna as there aren't many around in my neck of the woods. Rod did great last year on a 30# AJ and a small cobia though. As for lure weight, It handles throwing an OTI Komodo just fine for what it''s worth.

Lifetime over the counter depending on which shop you purchase it from. If the shop doesn't do the over the counter just send it back they send you a new one.
